ANCIENT SYMBOLS

Moon Vase is an art print exploring my fascination with ancient symbols, and the stories and meanings we have given to them throughout history.

This illustration is inspired by old tarot cards and the symbol of the moon: a mysterious force that has influenced life on Earth for as long as we can remember. From the movement of the tides to the cycles of nature, the moon is a constant presence, quietly shaping the world around us.

I’m fascinated by how symbols can carry meaning across centuries, cultures and generations. A simple shape or image can become a vessel for something much bigger: a belief, a ritual, a fear, or a connection to something beyond ourselves.

In this work, I wanted to explore the moon not simply as an object in the sky, but as an ancient symbol of cycles, mystery, intuition and transformation.
